Edge Finishing
We offer the following types of decorative edge finishing – planed, round over, bull nose & bevel. Each creates added value to the display.
Precision Gluing
We use SC-94 or SC125 acrylic glue. These glues have the highest bonding strength and create the least amount of bubbles possible. We use Weld On glue by IPS for fabricating other types of thermoplastic materials.
Precision Sawing
We only use Forest blades in our machinery for best possible quality cuts. These blades eliminate blade burning during the cutting of the material, and minimize bad alignment due to the miter gauge slot and/or alignment of the fence.
Heat Bending
Merchandising Inventives exclusively designed heating trays allow us to manufacture a consistent, professional bend while working with all types of thermoplastic material. This is essential in producing strait-line or fold-over bends and capable of heating up to 3/8" thick thermoplastic material.
Flame Polishing
We flame polish the material edges to create a smooth, glossy finish, adding value to the display.
Precision Routing
We only use Vortex or Onsrud router bits (cutters). These tools were specifically designed to give you a clean edge when cutting all types of plastic material.
Precision Drilling
We only use HHS drill bits, which are specially manufactured for the plastic fabrication industry. These bits have special tip angles for gradual penetration eliminating damage to the backside of the material producing smooth holes.
